Mode DevDrop 1 is a competition between Dapps to drive impact to Mode Network.
In return, successful dapps will share up to 5% of the token supply.

Dapps compete based on their impact in each Epoch.
An Epoch is two weeks long and for each Epoch a % of the rewards will be allocated.
THESE REWARDS ARE DISTRIBUTED TO DAPPS BASED ON A COMBINATION OF THEIR TOTAL DAPPS POINTS GENERATED FOR THAT EPOCH AND OTHER QUALITATIVE METRICS.
E.G. IF ALL DAPPS GENERATE 1 MILLION POINTS AND YOUR DAPP GENERATES 100,000 POINTS, YOU COULD EARN 10% OF THE REWARD FOR THAT EPOCH.

Mode is building a new onchain economy that rewards contribution to network growth.
Mode shares sequencer fee revenue with developers enabling you to earn as you scale your application. Every transaction that goes through your smart contract will earn part of the fees.
Open-source applications built on Mode are eligible to apply to Retro PGF, Optimism’s $1 billion grants program. Mode will support developers with measuring the impact of their applications for submission.
